Is it possible to have Session and Cache in the database at the same time? I've set both drivers to the database, however logging in doesn't work. Everything works fine when either one is set to database, but not when both are.
If you make a new Laravel project, make Auth, add Session table, add Cache table, set both drivers to database. Register and try to log in, it doesn't work. Set either one to file, and it works.

I've used wamp in the past with laravel, but I much prefer the light weight portability of artisan serve.
I've found a work around. If I run php -s directly it works.
php -S 127.0.0.1:8000 server.php
Which is weird because the artisan serve command does the exact same thing.
"C:\php\php7.1.9\php.exe" -S 127.0.0.1:8000 "C:\testapp\server.php"
But if I let artisan exec that, it crashes and deletes server.php ........
fredwilson started a new conversation Artisan Serve Doesn't Work And It Deletes Server.php
I haven't worked on any web projects in over a year, and I just updated to php7, and updated everything else as well, and am trying out the latest Laravel.
But when I create a new Laravel project, and run php artisan serve, after a few seconds the server quits, and if I rerun it and go to 127.0.01, it gives me the error:
Warning: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0
Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required 'C:\projects\blog3\server.php' (include_path='.;C:\php\pear') in Unknown on line 0
And it's deleted the server.php file in the root directory.
All my old Laravel projects still work. But new ones don't. (Sometimes randomly new projects will load in browser once, then server crashes and deletes server.php)
