Commented on Lazy Collections

@jeffreyway When you listen to query, first time it not fire query since it was return generator.

And when you call $project->first() then query log says "select * from project".

but why there was not limit 1 like select * from projects limit 1 in query since we was using first() method on project generator? Is that because we was not loading whole records from database ?

need clarification on this.

Replied to How To Pass Variable As Parameter In Repository Constructor From App()->bind().

I noticed. @nakov noted sorry for a typo mistake. it is UserInterface in my code. I think I put it accidentally in the snippet I have edited it now.

I found the solution myself, the following is the reference Github link and there's Taylor Otwell's comment inside it, which I found helpful to solve my query. and refer the solution from there.

https://github.com/laravel/ideas/issues/391#issuecomment-285197048

I Bind the interface with the repository in my service provider.

app()->bind(UserInterface::class, function () {
    return function ($user) {
        return new UserRepository($user);
    };
});

And inside controller I dynamic bind the data as follow:

$this->userInterface = app(UserInterface::class)($user);

Started a new conversation How To Pass Variable As Parameter In Repository Constructor From App()->bind().

Hey,

I have my Repository. i.e. UserRepository. This UserRepository implements the contract called UserInterface.

UserInterface.php

interface UserInterface {

    public function posts();
}

UserRepository.php

class UserRepository implements UserInterface{

    protected $user;
    public function __construct($user)
    {
        $this->user = $user;
    }

    public function posts(){
        $this->user->posts();
    }
}

Now in my controller, i wanted to use that interface to utilize the UserRepository class functionalities. however i tried to bind as follow:

UserController.php

public function __construct()
{
    $this->middleware(function ($request, $next) {
        $user = auth()->user();
        app()->bind(UserInterface::class, function($user) {
            return new UserRepository($user);
        });
        return $next($request);
    });
}

Now, How can I use my UserInterface to use it inside my controller.
