Started a new Conversation Change Select After Another Select Is Selected

Hello guys. I'm starting at Laravel and made two selects. One contains car brands ($marcas) that are in the database and the other contains car models ($modelos). However, how do I, if the user selects a brand, display only on the other select the models of that car brand?

  <form method="get" action="{{ route('buscar') }}">
                    <select class="custom-select mb-3" name="marca" id="marca">
                        <option value>Marca</option>
                        @foreach($marcas as $marca)
                        <option value="{{ $marca->cod_marca }}"> {{ $marca->marca }}</option>
                        @endforeach
                    </select>
                    <select class="custom-select mb-3" name="modelo" id="modelo" disabled="disabled">
                        <option value>Modelo</option>
                        @foreach($modelos as $modelo)
                        <option value="{{ $modelo }}"> {{ $modelo }}</option>
                        @endforeach
                    </select>
 		<button type="submit" id="btnForm" class="btn btn-primary w-100">Buscar</button>
                </form>

I'm not using a model. Only view and controller. In my controller, I have a function, where I am getting the "marcas" and "modelos" table.

     $marcas = DB::table('marcas')
             ->join('modelos', 'marcas.cod_marca', '=', 'modelos.cod_marca')
            ->get();
        $marca = $request->input('marca');
        $modelos = DB::table('modelos')
            ->join('marcas', 'modelos.cod_marca', '=', 'marcas.cod_marca')
            ->pluck('modelo');
