Commented on How Does Real-Time Table Filtering Work
Glad to hear your comment about the risky move from Vue 2 to Vue 3, Jeffry. I just installed Laravel 8 with Jetstream for a new project and discovered it uses Vue 3. So many plugins, such as a custom select box, do not work - they are still only compatible with Vue 2. Reading the docs on Vue 3, there are a lot of breaking changes to consider.
Thanks for diving into get vs replace - I was not aware of the focus issue before watching this.
Thanks! That's great.
No I'm not. FYI I just decided to install Laravel 8, Vue 2 and Inertia server-side and client-side (bypassing Jetstream altogether) and that build config does not cause the problem. So I'm guessing it's something in Jetstream.
Started a new Conversation Runtime Vue Error Laravel 8 And Jetstream VUE_PROD_DEVTOOLS Not Defined
I am getting this error:
app.js?id=37395f80948d4d99f537:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: VUE_PROD_DEVTOOLS is not defined at Module.5166 (app.js?id=37395f80948d4d99f537:2)
When I run a new Laravel 8 install with Jetstream, having run npm run prod. It works fine with npm run dev. Home page will not render at all with the prod version. I have the Vue dev tools extension in Chrome installed, with the allow access to file URLs option turned on . I cannot find anything about this in a Google search . Thanks for any help.
