Replied to Eloquent Relationship Issue

Solved my issue, thanks so much

Started a new Conversation Eloquent Relationship Issue

I am having issues with a eloquent relationship I am trying to get working on my site and am wondering if anybody knows where I have gone wrong. User.php

public function TrainingProgram() {
    return $this->belongsTo(TrainingProgram::class);
}

TrainingProgram.php

protected $table = 'training_programs';

public function User()
{
    return $this->hasOne(User::class,'training_program');
}

Blade file

{{ $avail->user->training_program->name }}

In my training_programs table I have two columns: name and ID, and I can get

{{ $avail->user->training_program}}

to work but not with '->name' attached onto it

Started a new Conversation Laravel 5.8 Error 404 | Not Found On Route When It Exists

I am having a issue with a website that I am working on which is giving a 404 error on a route when it exists and is filling in the correct url to the browser. Web.php file:

Route::post('/training/availability/{$id}/delete', '[email protected]')->name('availability.delete');

Training ControllerController:

public function delete($id)
{
    $available = Availability::find($id);
    $available->delete();

    return redirect('/');
}

Code on the button

<a href="{{ route('availability.delete', $avail->id )}}" style="color: white;">Remove</a>

I tried changing the route to ::get but it produces the same error

Replied to Converting Collections To JSON

@BOBBYBOUWMANN - I changed the 129 to JSON_PRETTY_PRINT but I am still having the same issue. It just prints false with nothing in the logs about the issue.

Started a new Conversation Converting Collections To JSON

I am trying to convert a collection which has over 300 entries into a JSON format to eventually be saved to a file.

        foreach($clients as $item) {
            $cl_array = explode(":", trim($item));
            $combined = @array_combine($tpl_array, $cl_array);
            if(!$combined) {
                continue;
            }
            if($combined && is_array($combined)) {
                $combined["planned_remarks"] = wordwrap($combined["planned_remarks"], 40);
                $combined["planned_route"]   = wordwrap($combined["planned_route"], 40);
                $combined["atis_message"]    = wordwrap($combined["atis_message"], 40);
                $clients_final[]             = $combined;
            }
        }
        $json = json_encode($clients_final, 128, 2048);
        dd($json);
        return view('home');

When I load the page it returns false, but if I only encode 1 entry from $clients_final it works fine. Any ideas on how to fix this so I can covert the whole collection to an array.
